ศูนย์กลยุทธ์และความสามารถทางการแข่งขันองค์กร

ความสามารถทางการแข่งขันเป็นปัจจัยเชิงเปรียบเทียบที่ใช้วัดความสามารถหรือสมรรถนะของตนเองเทียบกับคู่แข่ง  การพัฒนาความสามารถทางการแข่งขันองค์กรให้อยู่เหนือกว่าคู่แข่งจึงเป็นเป้าหมายที่ทุกองค์กรให้ความสำคัญ สำหรับองค์กรธุรกิจ ความสามารถทางการแข่งขัน คือ ความสามารถในการสร้างการเติบโตให้กับธุรกิจเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับคู่แข่ง แนวทางที่จะนำมาซึ่งความได้เปรียบ เช่น การเพิ่มผลิตภาพ (Productivity) และการสร้างนวัตกรรม (Innovation) เป็นต้น ศูนย์กลยุทธ์และความสามารถทางการแข่งขันองค์กร มจธ. จึงจะทำหน้าที่ในการสร้างและรวบรวมองค์ความรู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความสามารถทางการแข่งขันองค์กร และจะนำความรู้ดังกล่าวไปใช้ในการให้คำปรึกษาองค์กรทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน เพื่อยกระดับความสามารถทางการแข่งขันองค์กร ตลอดจนพัฒนาบุคลากรในองค์กรให้สามารถขับเคลื่อนองค์กรเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามารถทางการแข่งขันอย่างยั่งยืน

Center for Strategy and Enterprise Competitiveness (STECO) is established on the principle of comparative competitiveness, a key benchmark used by an enterprise to measure its competencies or performances against other organizations in the same industry. Thus, it is a main goal of all enterprises to enhance their competitiveness and stay more competitive than their competing organizations. For business organizations, competitiveness is the ability to create a higher business growth when compared to that of their competitors. Strategies that can lead to increased competitiveness are many and varied, namely increasing productivity or promoting innovation.

Center for Strategy and Enterprise Competitiveness of KMUTT therefore aims to gather and develop knowledge related to the enterprise competitiveness, and use such collective knowledge as a knowledge base in giving consultations to both private and government sectors so that these enterprises can enhance their competitiveness and develop their valuable human resources leading to their sustainable competitiveness.
